SHIPPING & REFUNDS

SHIPPING POLICY

To assure your chocolates get to you in the best condition possible, we have the following shipping policies.  Please familiarize yourself with our shipping policies before placing your order.

Order Processing

Online orders will be processed within 24 hours of placement.  Every effort will be made to get your order out the next business day, but occasionally during peak holiday seasons, it might take over 24 hours for us to get your order shipped.

 

We ship all packages USPS Priority mail, Monday - Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in order to avoid your chocolates sitting in transit for too long.

 

 

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that your order was placed.  Once your order is processed, you will receive a second email with tracking information once a shipping label has been created.    

 

 

      

Available Shipping Options 

The following flat rate option is currently available:  Please note that availability may change due to changes in weather or time of year. 

  • USPS Priority Mail 1-3 Day: (available year round) $18.95 Flat Rate. May-September Heat Advisory Warning: Product cannot  be guaranteed to arrive in good condition. In the event that the temperatures are too high for a two day transit to be used, this option will be removed and replaced with a suitable alternate.

Our shipping rates are a flat costs per package. If you are shipping to more than one recipient, then additional shipping charges will apply for each shipment.

Delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect delivery timelines, ship dates, and arrival dates. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather, incorrect address provided to us or other circumstances beyond our control.

 

USPS is making every attempt to ensure delivery in a timely manner however, they cannot guarantee transit times due to weather related delays and COVID impact. 

Shipping During Warm Months

Shipping from the 2nd driest state in the country can be extremely challenging starting from mid May to the end of September.  To guarantee each order arrives in excellent condition, we use insulated shipping materials and include frozen gel packs.  As an added measure against melting, please allow us an additional 24 hours to chill your package before it leaves our facility during those warm shipping months.  If your chocolates still arrive melted, please send a photo to info@aromachoco.com

 

Holiday Shipping 

Aroma Chocolates does not ship out the following days:

  • The day before Thanksgiving

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • December 20-26

  • December 30-January 2

USPS does not ship on the following days:

  • New Year’s Day (January 1st)

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (3rd Monday of January)

  • President’s Day (3rd Monday of February)

  • Memorial Day (4th Monday of May)

  • Independence Day (July 4th)

  • Labor Day (1st Monday of September)

  • Columbus Day (2nd Monday of October)

  • Veterans Day (November 11th)

  • Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday of November)

  • Christmas Day (December 25th)

REFUND POLICY

While Aroma Chocolates does all it can to package your chocolates so they arrive in perfect condition, we cannot be held responsible for damage to packages that may occur during shipping.  We go to great lengths to protect agains any damage during transit, however, once the products leave our location, any damage that may occur is out of our control.  We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by our shipping provider due to weather, COVID, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
